sasswolf-peter-hale:

The knowing smirk on his face was hard to deny. “I’ll be waiting,“ he agreed. His eyes closed as he leaned into her hand. A part of him knew there was a chance Gerard would never let her go; that she would never be free, and in essence, neither would he. As much as he feigned distaste, he loved her and he couldn’t help himself. The larger part, the hopeful part, clung to the now; the timbre of her voice, the warmth of her skin, the silk of her lips against his own.

He pulled away. “Oh, so I’M the hunter tonight? If we ever leave the room, that is.” he clarified, laughing softly as he kissed her. If it were possible, Peter would think he was drunk on her. But wolves couldn’t get drunk. Maybe his love for her made him feel so light, so happy and whole. As his jeans were removed, he gave a deviously playful smirk and arched his brow. “Trust me, baby, I know I look good for my age.“ He nipped at her lip with a laugh. “I just find no reason why I would want to share it with anyone else.”

Kate hoped more than anything that she would someday be free to be her own person without having to hear from Gerard what she needed to do. Even though she was a grown woman, he still stood over her shoulder and watched her every move to make sure she was doing things his way, because according to him that was the only way. All she wanted was to hunt the right way, by the code, and be with Peter. Honestly, that was all she wanted. But with the way she lived apparently it was too much to ask.

Once peter pulled away she grinned. “Yeah, I think it’s your turn to be the hunter.” she spoke, thinking for a moment before laughing at his next comment. “Hm, that’s very true. I don’t think we’ll make it out of this room until we have to.” she agreed, running her hands up his now exposed thighs. She rolled her eyes. “Well aren’t you cocky?” she chuckled, nipping his lip in return. When he mentioned sharing himself with anyone else she raised an eyebrow. “You better not.”
